Girl of the Day - Warrior Edition (Jennifer Morrison)

The Regular Son and I went to see Warrior over the weekend.   The movie is something of a Rocky rip-off, this time about mixed martial arts (MMA) champions, and it has a number of implausible twists, with one fighter being a war hero/deserter from Iraq living under an assumed name, and the other being a down-and-out high school teacher who is about to lose his home to foreclosure unless he wins the $5 million winner-take-all tournament; and then, the biggest twist of all.... they're brothers!   But, remarkably, it all works and might in some respects be better than Rocky or last year's The Fighter (also about brothers).   The MMA tournament at the climax is very well done, and very exciting, and the payoff when the brothers fight each other (you knew that had to happen) is tremendous.   Really fun... at least for a boys night out.

Anyway, the wife of the school teacher is played very nicely by Jennifer Morrison, who is literally the only female character in the entire movie:
